An excellent period offset lithograph, full-color print, after Cubist painting "Femme Au Chapeau" (Woman in a Hat, also known as Woman in Gray, 1942) by Pablo Picasso. Comes from a Limited Edition of XVI pieces from Picasso's Cubism period, published by Les Editions du Chene in Paris, France in the 1940s. Printed on one side. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper. Information regarding the original artwork will be found by lifting the piece, in French. Numbered on the board: XI. Excellent condition of the print - no damage, no foxing; the board shows some tanning, foxing, age and edge wear on both sides; dated in pencil on the board: 8/42; no foxing on the board underneath the print; never framed.
