This intricately handwoven center bowl basket with lid, sits on stylish peg feet which offers a boost of height to the bowl’s profile and prevents wear on its underside. Lombok-style design, handcrafted from coiled rattan with rattan weavers woven around the coils in an over and under tight weave, beautiful! Perfectly-sized to serve as a vide poche on an entryway or console table or as a decorative catchall on a vanity or dresser top. The rich honey hue will complement most any color scheme and its clean lines will fit right in with any décor style. In excellent condition with minimal, if any wear. It hails from Indonesia and was made sometime in the 1970s by an unknown basket artisan. This beauty measures 6¼” high with the lid on; 4¼” lid off 9” x 9” W/D; interior 7½” x 7½” x 3½” W/D/H; weight 13 oz.; handwoven from honey hued coiled rattan and rattan weavers. Photos were taken in the round to show all sides and any varying shades and nuances of color and weave.
