Tray is wood, not metal. Comes out like any other tray table. Stencil decoration along the edge; finer floral spray in the middle. Base is likely mid-century to 1980s; typical faux bamboo gilt-painted legs and stretchers; still sturdy and intact. I am not sure of the tray's age but it is probably much older. Some overall alligatoring to the finish on the tray.

Overall good condition on both pieces for the age. See less
