An iconic grey leather 'Falcon' sling chair and ottoman by Sigurd Ressell for Vatne Møbler, signed on both the chair frame and the ottoman. A more rare variation of the Falcon design, the lounge chair has both a highback with headrest and arms, which are less commonly seen but exquisite when paired together like this example.
The Falcon throne chair, suspended in air, and harnessed by four sculptural, light wood frame components features comfortable and quality grey leather cushions that rest in beige canvas slings.
The highback Falcon easy chair, an iconic piece of Norwegian design, was created by Sigurd Ressell for Vatne Møbler circa 1970s. Giving a nod to hammocks, hanging chairs and other seating that specializes in relaxing, this inimitable chair brings stylish leisure to another level. A classic lounge piece for both a living room or a patio.

CONDITION:
Very good vintage condition. Wood frames have light age, fading, wear and patina. Some minor scratching and scuffs to the wood, more noticeable near metal hooks that connect the sling to the frame and near the end of legs. Light patina to leather. Canvas has minor staining. Very attractive and presentable. Leather is very nice. Ready to be used immediately.
