It … Read more Here's an interesting still life painted at Lake Luzerne, Upstate New York and done in the Abstract Expressionist style. It features what appears to be a figurine, a pewter pitcher and a wine glass. Painted by Roland Tiemann (1897-1992), who was a commercial artist as well as a successful exhibitor throughout Downstate and Upstate New York. In addition, he was a member of Cooperative Art Gallery in NYC that was founded by a group of young artists who had studied under Theodoros Stamos. For those who enjoy Mid-20th Century art. See less
