This vintage California Pottery large white cabbage ware bowl is perfect for serving a big fruit salad in the morning, a green salad at lunch, and your favorite side dishes at dinner (I'm looking at you mashed potatoes!)
The bowl, which is stamped Calif. USA, has very life like detailing including veins through the multi-leaf design, and a rim that mimics the top edge of cabbage leaves. The bowl has a soft pearlescent finish that seems to subtly shift with the changing light.

- The bowl is in great vintage condition overall, fully functional, and shows normal signs of use consistent with it's age … moreThe bowl is in great vintage condition overall, fully functional, and shows normal signs of use consistent with it's age and purpose. There is one chip on the underside of the top rim of the bowl, but because of the design it is not visible unless you turn the bowl upside down. There is so much detailing/texture in the 3 dimensional veins on the cabbage leaves it is hard to tell what might be a flaw and what is part of the design. Please review all photographs carefully and zoom in for details. Feel free to ask questions. less
