I'm pleased to offer for sale this fantastic Modern architectural - geometric abstract art plaster sculpture, It is inspired by the 20th century Cubist movement, they are whimsical yet very substantial in form and execution.

Hello!
I'm Edie Macias, creator of this work of art and owner of " Miami Vintage Decor" I find this part of my life the perfect compliment to my job as a purveyor of fine vintage and antique art and furniture.

My creative process starts with sketches and drawings; then I start creating these complex forms. It is all about the expression and emotions of the human face. To me being self taught with the arts gives me a great sense of accomplishment.

This plaster sculpture emphasizes simplicity and balance through a composition of intersecting planes and circular motifs. The geometric elements evoke architectural precision, with disks embedded in the rectangular body, creating a dialogue between positive and negative spaces. The cut-out segment introduces movement, breaking the solidity of the form while drawing attention to subtle shifts in depth. The contrast between smooth surfaces and tactile imperfections they give the piece an organic and interesting touch. The piece invites contemplation of structure, stability, and the relationships between shapes in space.

I use artistic plaster and then I start molding manually all the form. Even Though the process is rather timely, I execute all the details manually.

They are the perfect addition to a Mid-century Modern home or to any art collection.
