This is a beautifully carved and decorated gilt and creme painted French Empire style console or sofa table. The table features beautifully carved figures in gold leaf and a beautiful slab of marble on top. The table does show minor signs of age and wear such as gilt loss and patina from age. The piece dates to the 1940-50s era.
