Antique 1st quality, designed by Christian Thomsen, Danish sculptor, produced figurines for Royal Copenhagen in the early 1900's, incised signature to the base.
Small specks and imperfections in the glaze can be present on antique pieces, they are inherent to the manufacturing process of the time. It is a rare find, the quality of the lifelike moulding and painting on early pieces is unsurpassed. This piece has an attribution mark,
