A wonderful and enormous bench in solid chestnut recovered near Reggio Emilia and dating back to the 18th century with a fascinating primitive character.
The bench has a deep seat and a rather high backrest. The armrests are decorated and sculpted with primordial carvings. The beautiful ebonized and oxidized patina testifies to its age and history. We purchased this bench more than a year ago and after an endless restoration work it is now one of the most valuable pieces in our collection for historical and aesthetic value.
An exceptionally rare and one-of-a-kind piece, ready to beautify and embellish any space.
Seat height: 37 cm.
