This large high-quality amphora vase in embossed copper was designed by Egidio Casagrande. The vessel was hand-crafted at his own workshop in Borgo Valsugana in Italy during the 1950s. The artist created several brass and copper objects inspired by ancient vessels. Casagrande also created sculptures for public places in Italy and he designed film props for Hollywood productions like Ben Hur in 1959, The Ten Commandments in 1956 and The Fall of the Roman Empire in 1964.
