This lovely art deco sensual pochoir executed by the french illustrator; George Barbier is from the portfolio; Chansons de Bilitis. It has an Egyptian revival influence to it along with Greek courtesan undertones celebrating physical love between women. This portfolio was set to the poems of Pierre Louys's and was executed sometime between 1910-1929. It is custom framed
in a metal leaf frame with a red clay rub underneath. The archival mat is silk with a metal leaf fillet .The pochoir image is approximately 8" W x 9" H. This is a rare piece and will not be marked down.
