The slat on the top allows light to come through. It has a halogen bulb. It is an inverted L. Unusual a pair of lamps not seen on the market. There is a turn switch on the side. It has been polished to the best it can be for this chrome plating and has been all rewired. These are a RARE AND FABULOUS pair.
