The lovers embrace surrounding the … Read more This small but amazing sensual bronze sculpture by Victor Zaikine is wonderful from every angle. The lovers embrace surrounding the bowl of life. It rings with sensuality and erotic movement. Their twisted bodies create dimension and form. It is entitled " Lovers Embrace" from a series. This has a modern yet art deco meets art nouveau feel to this sculpture. The round bowl like form is great for a ring tray or etc. It is lovely, small but mighty and has great weight to it. This was influenced of the art deco and art nouveau movements but was done in the late 60's or early 70's. This is also a great desk accessory for a man or woman it retains the patina on it from time and has not been polished for over 15 years. See less
