A good quality set of French ceramics by Digoin Sarreguemines, France, circa 1950s.
The set consists of a large platter or bowl and two generously sized wine bottle coasters to protect your table linens. The eye catching green majolica glaze with a basket weave mold is typical of the Sarreguemines design also seen in many fruit baskets and soup tureens. Every French home had at least one of these sets for indoor or al fresco dining.
Footed wine bottle coasters measure: 5 in. x 5 in. x 1/2 in. High
