This sterling silver set is hallmarked on each piece with Sanborn with the sterling and Mexican mark. The ribbed lines with black background add dimension on the 3 pieces. it has bakelite and roped appointments on the handle. Good weight to it. Mexico from the 40's. Timeless and modern for ever... beautiful and elegant metalsmith work...it is mid century modern. Sanborn was one of the finest silversmith companies in Mexico of the time. Elegant! it does not come with a tray. We purchased this rare set over 35 years ago. See less
