Fabulous hand carved all wood seahorse with drilled toothpick holes to hold 50 appetizers.
These types of serving pieces in a variety of animal shapes, with toothpick holes for appetizers, were quite popular for entertaining in 1960 - 90s. The seahorse is made of a lovely hardwood and would look great alone or as the centerpiece on an appetizer tray. Circa 1960 - 80s. No maker's marks. Lovely all hardwood, hand carved and in very good condition consistent with age and use.
Dimensions: Base is 5 inches x 5 inches in diameter and top of seahorse is 9.5 inches high from table.
