A bold and impressive carved mahogany writing table in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. Of generous proportions, made and originally retailed by Maple and Co of London. Well constructed in solid mahogany and decorated with carved detailing throughout. The serpentine shaped top is fitted with sumptuous conker brown leather panels, complete with tooled decorations to the surrounds. with a series of 3 long drawers to the front. All standing on bold legs , terminating in hairy paw feet and original castors.
