This vintage Chinese pedestal stand features a rich rosewood finish, intricate mother-of-pearl floral inlay, and elegant proportions that make it a striking display piece. The top is decorated with delicate inlaid botanical motifs surrounding a circular center panel, while the pierced apron showcases additional openwork carving and decorative details.
I especially love the craftsmanship throughout the piece. The substantial construction, thick cabriole legs, carved ball-and-claw feet, and decorative stretcher with turned finial give the stand a refined furniture-quality presence while providing excellent stability for displaying plants, porcelain, sculpture, or other decorative objects.
