An extraordinary antique Louis XVI-style or Napoleon III period chest of drawers/commode is in great condition beautifully crafted out of mahogany wood. These pieces are characterized by their formal, neoclassical design, often featuring ebonized wood, marble tops, and ornate gilt-bronze (ormolu) or brass mountings
This sideboard features a double black veined marble top beautifully polished, two top drawers with carved handles, and two doors the interior has four drawers with plenty of storage. The piece has detailed carved molding throughout the entire piece, elegant ebonized color with gilt molding details, and is supported by four sturdy carved legs. This 1900s Louis XVI marble top commode is elegant and ready to be used & displayed for years to come.
