A large competent unsigned acrylic on canvas still life painting of a pear, attributed to Cuban born artist Adriano Buergo (b.1964).
Adriano Buergo studied at San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts, the Higher Institute of Art (ISA), and the Rene Portocarrero Silk Screen Print Shop, in Havana, Cuba and has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions including Kuba OK, Stadtische Kunstalle, Dusseldorf, Germany (1990); No Man Is an Island, Pori Museum of Fine Arts, Finland (1990); Los Hijos de Guillermo Tell, Contemporary Cuban Artists, Alejandro Otero Museum of Visual Arts, Caracas, Venezuela (1991); and Breaking Barriers: Selection from the Cuban Art Collection, Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale, FL (1997).
He resides in Miami, FL.
