Lukasi Anangi Amamartua (Lucassie Amm)
Large Canadian Inuit stone carving of a bird perched on rock eating a fish. Etched signature and original sticker at base, Measures 11" tall x 13"x 7".
Lukasi Anangi Amamartua (Lucassie Amm) was born February 13, 1935. He resides in Akulivik, but also lived in Povungnituk. His work is in the collections of the Canadian Guild of Crafts in Quebec and the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs, minor surface scratching.
