Tubular brass structure bent into a stable and very elegant sculptural base. This consists of a circular ring where the stem is attached to. On the bottom the stem is divided in to and reminds of a toe of a bird. On the movable stem there’s a leather handle to move the lamp around. In the middle sits a brass ball and at the end there’s the connection point to adjust the shade. Stunning adjustable floor lamp with one of the most ingenious mechanisms ever seen. By turning the weight, the centre part comes loose and the lamp can be adjusted. The shade is made of a conical shaped base with perforations and a half bended round top shade also with perforations that has a brass cap. The lamp is in original condition, besides the shades, these are professionally refinished in their original off-white colour. Stamped with ‘Made in Italy Arredoluce Monza' on the brass back of the weight. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
