This vintage chest from Italy has been nicely cobbled together from various older pieces, giving it a much older look than it is. The case houses a pair of drawers, each fitted with rectangular bail pulls and a shield-shaped escutcheon at its center, flanked within flute carved front side posts. The skirting is clean and linear, with shallow step downs at each side at center, and a more prevalent step down at front center. The chest is presented upon four squared legs that taper gently towards their feet, with front pair being flute carved. Blue is the primary color of this piece, with a complimentary black on the top. This Italian raised chest is a nice versatile size at just over 3 feet in width, making it the perfect storage and display piece while adding a nice pop of blue color to your interior. See less
