The chairs are refinished and newly upholstered in luxurious, navy blue bouclé - a nod to Peabody's Navy service before opening his design firm Lawrence Peabody Associates in 1955. While most of his furniture designs were manufactured by Richardson Nemschoff, furniture companies today, such as Knoll and Craft Associates, have acquired the rights to make reproductions of his most iconic designs.
