The serpentine … Read more A great quality pair of 19th-century French giltwood throne armchairs of large proportions. Camel-shaped backs with generous seats. The serpentine front-shaped seats are flanked by a pair of shaped, carved, scrolled armrests with turned supports, raised on baluster-turned legs. All legs are united by serpentine-shaped stretchers. Reupholstered a few years ago in quality Scottish tartan fabric. There are a few small holes in the fabric, which can be seen in the pictures. Great patina, very comfortable, impressive armchairs with nice sturdy frames. The seat height is 50 cm. See less
