Bambi, a white-tailed deer, is the protagonist of a 1942 animated film directed by David Hand.
It is an American animated feature film, produced by Walt Disney and based on the novel Bambi by Felix Salten. The film was released by RKO Radio Pictures in the United States on August 13, 1942 and is the 5th Disney Classic.
