A striking vintage porcelain horse sculpture table lamp featuring a beautifully modeled leaping horse poised above a stylized scrolling base. Finished in glossy warm ivory/white porcelain with rich burgundy-red and metallic gold accents, the sculptural form gives the lamp wonderful movement and an unmistakable Art Deco-inspired presence.
This unusual equestrian lamp works equally well in a traditional, Hollywood Regency, Art Deco, or collected eclectic interior. It would be especially handsome on a console, writing desk, bedside table, or in an equestrian-themed study or library. The combination of the elongated horse, architectural base, and original-looking aged metal components gives it considerably more character than a typical ceramic figurine lamp.
Vintage condition with age-appropriate wear, including visible paint/finish loss around the lower metal base, as photographed. Porcelain appears very attractive overall. Lamp measures approximately 8.25”W × 5.25”D × 23”H to the top of the harp. Shade and finial are not included.
