This original chair is completely restored with new fabric and new foam.
It is upholstered with lovely and high quality fabric.
It is in perfect condition.

Originally marked under the seat.

Theo Ruth (1915-) can be considered as the Pioneer of the designs by Artifort. In 1936 he joined the company, first as cabinetmaker, later in 1939 as head of the design and development department. The Congo chair is his best known design and was a great sales success for Artifort. This piece has an attribution mark,
