Set of 2 large mid-century Italian alabaster vases from the 1930s.
Beautiful and unique pieces, found in a noble villa in my city, Palermo. It is said that they were given as gifts by the rich Florio merchants to the notary who took care of the sale of a ship. Intact and in good condition, they have small breaks and repairs. They are slightly different in size. This is due to the completely artisanal workmanship of those years. They are so beautiful that they could be displayed in a museum.
