Rare mid-century Cocoon table lamp with the characteristic shade shape from Goldkant Leuchten, designed by Friedel Wauer.
The striking Cocoon lampshade is supported by an internal frame that tapers into a delicate tripod at the bottom. At the top, the support frame protrudes as a black bracket. The slender shade is spindle-shaped, widening in the middle and tapering again toward the tip.
The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. The paint has peeled slightly on the inside. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution,
European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
