This 1961 painting signed Rex Ashlock
Is titled “Nude, Green & Purple.
This is a gouache on paper dated Oct 1961
Rex Ashlock was born in Spokane ,Washington in 1918.
He studied at the California College of Arts & Crafts under David Parks.
He taught at the School of the Museum of Modern Art in NYC in 1957
He returned to San Francisco and remained there the rest of his life.
