In the Louis IV style crisply casted bronze with a rich triple plated gold patina ( Maintains it's original gold) with each sconce formed realistically like a live sensuous female nude / mermaid. Absolutely the highest craftsmanship of the period the quality is so fine you can actually feel the expression of love on her face ( see images ) with a perfectly scaled and proportional body on each sconce. Provenance: A New York North Shore Long Island Goald Coast estate filled with Sevres bohemian moser glass signed Sormani Linke and KPM plaque.. Note the size is an impressive 21 inches high to where a bulb is placed on top of the candle sleeve and each sconce not including the sleeve measures 15.5 inches tall. See less
