This beautiful Hand Made Table came to us from a Historic Lake Sunapee Estate.
As far as the previous owners had known it had Lived in a Log Home/Cabin here in Sunapee. Dating it at least back to mid 20th Century.

My guess would be that the top quarter sawn surface was refinished not too long ago. This is an impressive table with the base made of log (likely from the property) and scraped of its bark to create a finished look. It’s very heavy & structurally sound. The perimeter of the top is wrapped with tree limb (scraped) as well. less
