Incredible Folk Art hand-carved and painted box with a charming cottage with tiled roof on the hinged lid. Three sides feature scenes of trees behind white fences and the box is raised on a platform base. The paint has beautifully worn over time exposing the hand cut dovetail joinery of construction. The interior of the box is lined in green velvet.
The exterior dimensions are 6.5" deep x 8.75" wide x 4.88" tall with the inside cavity dimensions measuring 5.75" deep x 7.5 wide x 3.75" tall.
