Vase by Robert and Jean Cloutier, twin brothers renowned for their rich and dreamlike French ceramics.
Cylindrical in shape with a flared neck, it is made of matte black glazed ceramic on the outside and Cloutier red glazed ceramic on the inside, which made them famous.
Signed Cloutier RJ on the bottom.
Provenance: Artists' studio.
A certificate of authenticity from the widows of the Cloutier brothers will be provided to the purchaser.
