Set of … Read more Italian mid century modern, brown leather and tubolar steel chairs by Vladimir Tatlin for Nikol International, from 1950s. Set of four iconic Tatlin chairs with armrests and chromed tubular steel structure, with semi-oval seat in light brown leather and visible stitching. The chair is supported by two legs, also in tubular, which come together under the seat and form a circle. Produced by Nikol International in approx. 1950. and designed by Vladimir Tatlin. Logo present under the seat. Vintage condition, in particular several parts of the chrome plating of the metal have worn off and the leather shows various signs of aging. Measurements in cm 56x65x79h, seat 53h cm and armrest 76h cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
