Red makers' mark date range circa 1806-1825. Markers' mark on bottom as shown in last image. Vessel has beautiful details from top to bottom as shown in images and video, consistent with European potpourri designs of the 1800s and earlier. Piece was made to hold potpourri (dried flowers and spices) to fragrance a room. Today, piece would make a great standalone decorative object, vessel to hold small items, or for potpourri minus the lid. Dimensions: 4.5" Diameter x 4" Height. See less
