A beautiful German hand painted porcelain potpourri urn vase with flowers and putti, in the Rocco style, by Sitzendorf, circa 19th century or earlier, Germany. Piece has details floral lid, putti and flowers on front left and right sides, flowers on back. Beautiful details all around as shown. This potpourri urn vase sculpture piece would made a nice detail for a powder or bathroom, vanity area, etc. Markers' mark on underside as shown in last image. Dimensions: 6.25" Height.
Potpourri vases were designed to hold a mix of scented dried flowers, leaves, or spices to freshen room air, with intentional perforation to enable scent release.
