A rare vintage photogravure of painting "The Raft of the Medusa" by by the French Romantic painter and lithographer Théodore Géricault. Comes from a rare First Limited Edition art folio published by Albert Skira in 1940s in Switzerland. Printed on one side. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper. Information regarding the original artwork will be found by lifting the piece. Excellent condition - minor edge wear on the board, never framed.
