A stunning rare large vintage photogravure of portrait "The Young Amalric (Ruler, Prince)" by 18th century French painter Antoine-Jean Gros. Signed in the print. Comes from a rare art folio published by Albert Skira in 1940s in Switzerland. First limited German edition. Printed on one side. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper. Information regarding the original artwork will be found by lifting the piece. Excellent condition - minor edge wear on the board, never framed. Colors are brilliant.
