This piece is marked China so it’s after the law required country of origin marks 1891 and before the words made in were required. This is an especially bright and pretty dish, one of the prettiest I’ve seen . There is some wear on the paint but no chips or cracks. This rare and fantastic serving plate is a collectors piece for entertaining. This size platter can be used for serving appetizers, desserts or side dishes. The oblong Chinese plate has heavily applied raised enamel hand painted decoration on a bright yellow background with designs of flowers and leaves in pink, red, blue, green, blue-green and white shades. The border is blue-green and pink in a key border design. The edge has a beautiful cut out pattern. The platter has red flowers around the outside and there is a footed base in a green and red grass pattern. There is a red-iron oxide "China" mark on the back center of the plate.

Dimensions: 10" L x 7 1/4" W x 1 1/4" Ht. The footed base is 5/8" ht.
The plate is in very good Antique condition. There are marks from the original firing of the piece. See less
