A striking deep green French Majolica Sarreguemines Oyster Plate, circa 1930s. Signed Sarreguemines on the back and marked France. This sturdy thick ceramic oyster plate features six wells for oysters and a center condiment well. It is hand painted and glazed in a rich green color with darker areas of heavy glazing. A wonderful French tradition for serving oysters with condiments or a beautiful addition to a collection.
