This ceramic vessel is crafted using a wheel-thrown technique, featuring a cylindrical form with slightly tapering sides and a rounded base. The exterior is coated with a brown iron-rich glaze that exhibits greenish patches where the glaze has pooled, resulting in a varied and layered surface effect. The glaze application gives a sense of depth, with areas of thicker application showing more concentrated hues. Concentric lines from the wheel-throwing process are visible on the interior, coated with the same brown glaze. The bottom of the vessel is left unglazed, revealing the speckled stoneware clay body, and includes a defined circular foot.
