A large eagle, with wings displayed, sits atop a small round mirror, nine inches in diameter. The glass is encircled by a well-carved circle, consisting of a deep cavetto molding filled with raised roundels. A pair of large foliate volutes also adorn the upper part of the frame, flowing downwards to form an impressive, curled leaf beneath the glass.
