Gorgeous collection of highly collectible, mid century wide sterling silver band Allegro glasses designed by Dorothy Thorpe, in their original packaging that includes the plastic that covers each silver rim to protect it. Original DT stickers and care cards are included in some of the boxes (not all). The Allegro pattern glasses are a stunning example of pure design in a classic and timeless appreciation for cocktail culture. Sold as six (6) place setting sets; each set includes 1 goblet, 1 wine, and 1 champagne/sherbert. Stunningly beautiful after all of these years.
Allegro Goblet is 6 1/2" tall x 3" in diameter and holds 14 fl.oz.
Allegro Wine is 5 3/4" tall x 2 3/4" in diameter and holds 10 fl.oz.
Allegro Champagne is 4 1/2" tall x 3 1/8" in diameter and holds 4 fl.oz.

There are no chips or cracks in the glass. The pictures don't do justice to their beauty - any blueish coloring is due to reflections and light in the room while being photographed. The box on each set available is in good condition with noticeable wear and water stains from age and storage conditions.
