It's newly reupholstered in a very nice fabric textile featuring a Kilim motif decorative pattern. The dark wooden base of the sofa features an intricate ornate hand carving with flower details and is reminiscent of church pews. It's very sturdy and solid, presumably comprised of Oak Wood.
