A stunning (but aged) First Edition period offset lithograph, print, after painting "The Eagle's Road" (La Route De Laigle, 1944) by Maurice Vlaminck (1876-1958). Comes from a First Limited Edition art folio published by Editions du Chene in Paris, France, in 1947. Edition N 111. Printed on one side. Hand tipped-in on an board of heavy paper. Numbered on the board. Information regarding the original artwork, in French, will be found by lifting the piece. Fair condition - age wear, scratches, extensive foxing on back and on the board underneath the print, minor edge wear on the board, never framed.
