A 1980s acrylic on paper painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This abstract work depicts a vibrant landscape painted predominantly in pink and blue and flanked by two evergreen trees. Signed to the lower right, the painting is unframed.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
