Based on Daphne du Maurier's 1952 short story of the same name, the suspense-filled thriller set in an eerie Northern California coastal town besieged by a series of unexplained violent bird attacks remains one of the most terrifying films ever made. In 2021, the film was ranked at No. 29 by Time Out on their list of "The 100 best horror movies", and has been named the seventh greatest thriller in American cinema by the American Film Institute. Although a similar format to US 'insert' movie posters, Australian 'daybill' posters are significantly rarer. See less
